As many know I have been a long time customer of MTC Radio, run by Richard and Christine Lenoir in Paris Texas. Just got an email and some info on a product he developed in conjunction with Wouxon. It is a dual band HT .Analog. V/Uhf ht. He designed it and used an existing platform with his changes. This HT is designed for sight impaired hams. Minimalistic keypad with wide spaced buttons that are embossed with braille on each key. It announces each key press. Here is a link to his announcement email. He sent one off to RT systems to develop Programing software. Not sure how far that has  been completed yet. I’ll pass on any info as I know more. The HT’ are for sale now as far as I know. This is the first HT I’ve known to be set up like this. A great idea that has been a long time coming.
