Stand alone RX SDR’s and FD2026

Anyone running a stand alone SDR? I am considering adding one to the shack. I have looked at HackRF and leaning towards one of the SDR play. Aireal and I will have to run and build an antenna of course and probably be a big loop around the property. 

Any input would be appreciated

I have the following SDR equipment, all purchased about 3 years ago but seldom used at all.  They are available for a great price!

An SDRplay RSPduo.

An Airspy R2 SDR.

Also a Nooelec RTL-SDR (very basic SDR)

In addition, I have two N2EME SDR Switches (https://sdrswitch.com/) These are the Cadillac of switches.  They have the lowest Insertion Loss and VSWR of any SDR Switch on the market.

N2EME SDR Switch (0-70 MHz) 100-watt SDR Switch
N2EME SDR Switch (0-450 MHz) 100-watt SDR Switch


"Life Got in the Way" and I never got this equipment set up to work with my station more than just for an initial trial.

I use my RSP1 from SDRplay connected to the IF OUT of my FTDX101D as a detailed spectrum display.  Works great with much more detail than can be seen on the radio display.  The RSP1 is a good general coverage receiver, though I didn't find much use for it other than a curiosity.  The fun with the RSP1 is getting it running with the SDRplay software and interacting with the FTDX101D.
