OK, I just have to brag some more on this guy I am Elmer'ing.  I set Pat, KF8EXX, up with the N1MM+ Contest Logger last week and showed him the bare basics on how to use it.  He took off in the WV QSO Party on Saturday and made 118 valid CW QSO's - all without me looking over his shoulder!!  He did mess up 3 QSO's because he did not know how to make corrections "on the fly" in N1MM+ but still, what an effort for his first time out of the blocks contesting and never having used a contest logger before.  This was good practice for his work in Field Day this coming weekend.

100-watts, non-assisted, vertical antenna for all the QSO's.  Today I extracted his Cabrillo file from N1MM+ and submitted it for the QSO Party.  Below is his Score Summary:

Last Thursday I made a trip to Pat's QTH in Cottageville, WV, and got his laptop to "play nice" with Logger32 and WSJT-X and JTAlert - all at the same time.  During that visit I dropped off a 4-element 6-M Yagi that I have had in my attic for many years.  Turns out he was so excited to be able to get on 6-M with a "real" antenna (and not just the CushCraft vertical) that yesterday he assembled the antenna (by himself) and erected it AFTER DARK.  He sent me the following photo about 10:15 PM last night.  Right now the antenna is just fixed to the NE but he has a rotor and will be putting up a small tower to hold the 6-M beam soon.  He worked so much on this that he was hardly able to sleep last night with the pain in his arms and legs!

Today I connected via AnyDesk to his laptop and got him running on 6-M with WSJT-X.  He quickly made 4 QSO's in 4 Grids (Including W8TN and "on random" W8WEJ.)

I had to hang up because my phone was down to 10% battery.  But just now I sneaked a look at his laptop via AnyDesk and he has moved to 15-M and apparently is learning what it's like to have a pileup on your signal:

I probably need to call him on my house phone and help him out a bit!  Don't want him to get scared off!!!

Very good score considering 20 and 15 were not in great condition - 40 meters was very busy

Need CW ops for WVAR FD in Liberty for sure

Congratulations

Mr Clark, you have every right to pass along the information. Very impressive to say the least.
