Friday Evening: The Stereoscopic Picturesque

  As I mentioned at our next-to-last rehearsal, this Friday, May 15, at 5 pm, at Saint Barnabas Episcopal Church, Norwich, VT, I will be speaking about my new book, The Stereoscopic Picturesque: 19th-century Photography, Literary Landscapes, and the 3d Dimension. The talk is preceded by a potluck dinner. I'll bring along a variety of stereoscopes, several examples of stereoviews from my collection, and, of course, a copy of the book.  And maybe one or two signed by Brian May. So do stop by if you can (with food)!  Bruce

Usually these have started a half hour later, and the first half hour is people coming with their food and getting it arranged.

I assume something similar will happen, starting at 5, with the eating bit starting about 5:30.

And after supper, I babble on.
