Dear WRSA Colleagues,

as I am not certain that my email was received, I am trying again. On behalf of a German rabbit breeding facility, I would like to inquire about the experiences (both possibilities and limitations) regarding the cryopreservation of sperm, oocytes, and embryos in various countries. Is this practice currently being applied in the field?

Dear Steffen and colleagues,

Here attached you can find two recent reviews in WRS (one of them presented in the last WRC) about embrios and semen cryopreservation.

I believe that embryos and oocytes cryopreservation are widely used in different countries with success to spread genetic material, but semen cryopreservation has more limitations.

I hope this information can be useful for you and your colleagues.
