MBA Service Day in the Park

Woodmont Park Supporters -

A giant thanks to Montgomery Bell Academy for sending 23 seventh and twelfth graders who did a TON of useful work for 2 hours this morning in Woodmont Park, as part of their annual service learning day!  With gorgeous weather to make it pleasant, the boys mulched almost all of the trees in the park, planted 60 daffodil bulbs,  fertilized the newer trees, repaired or replaced many tree bark protectors, picked up litter and trimmed back overgrown shrubbery.

Thanks to our good friends in Metro Parks Department who brought the mulch and supervised, and to Metro Beautification Department in Public Works for the daffodil bulbs and bulb planter tool!
