WOAD receives, but doesn't send.

I created a test email, and posted it to the outbox.
(Actually, I created two emails - one to my callsign and one to my IRL email address.)
Using my phone & my HT, I started the session.
Everything sounded right, and I received email that was waiting for me.
The email in the outbox disappeared, and the app said it was sent, but:
- that email never appeared in the sent folder.
- that email never arrived at the recipient.
Is there something I'm missing or forgetting to do?

Winlink doesn't allow you to send an email to the same callsign. If you would like to test Winlink or WoAD you can send an email to another callsign or your personal email account. (Ex: Gmail.com) A three option is to send TEST as a callsign. That email will go to the Winlink test reflector.

Thanks!  I had sent to both my callsign and my regular email address.  I think the one blocked the other, maybe?  Just sending to my gmail address worked fine.
