ICS 213 Crash

Our radio team uses Winlink for an alternative way of checking in for a weekly Net. After filling out the necessary information, then clicking the check mark (which I assume is how you submit) the app simply closes without submitting anything. I brought it up at the last meeting and everyone is reporting the same results. Searching through the group I see that this was addressed at some point, but we are still having issues. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Could you confirm that you're using the "ICS213 General Message" template under "ICS USA Forms" from the Standard Templates. If not, please let me know which template you are using. Also, which version of WoAD are you using? This can be found by tapping on the About item from the top menu. Any other info that might be relevant would be much appreciated, as I can't currently reproduce the problem. A list of steps that you are taking that lead to the crash would be most useful just in case you're doing something that I hadn't thought of.

Yes, you use the check mark to submit the form. If you tap and hold on the check mark you'll see a "Submit" tag floating above it to let you know what it does. The same should be true for all the iconized menu items in WoAD.

I went back to the last received ICS 213 message to simulate the my concern and everything is working now.  I filled out the information fields like before and this time the checkmark had the word submit beside it. I could of swore the word submit was not beside the checkmark before. After I submitted I posted to outbox started a session and successfully sent a reply. I don't know what was happening before but it's working now so I apologize. Thanks.

Yes, the "Submit" label appearing next to the checkmark is at the discretion of Android - it'll determine if there is sufficient room for the label, which will depend on the size of the device, the font size being used, whether you're in portrait or landscape mode, etc. So no surprise that you see it in some circumstances but not others.

Similarly, the crash you saw may depend on the exact sequence of steps you took - which likely vary each time.
