WoAD and digirig

I am having an issue with WoAD and a digirig.

The digirig will key the radio. However, no audio will transmit.  If I don't use the digirig the audio does come out of the tablet speakers. I have tried plugging in headphones to the digirig and still receive no audio out.

The tablet is a Samsung Galaxy Tab8, and the radio I am using is an FTM-6000r.  The digirig and radio work with a Windows PC and Winlink.  The radio and digirig also work for receive on APRSdroid.

My guess is that I have a setting wrong in WoAD as all the other things are ruled out now.  Below are screenshots of my WoAD configuration.  Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Travis,

Looking at your session settings didn't reveal any obvious problems.

I think the next step is to simplify the problem by plugging the digirig into the Samsung Tab8. Playing any audio over the Tab8 should be audible in headphones plugged into the audio jack of the digirig - albeit on only a single channel. If that is not the case then you won't have any better fortune with WoAD as the audio source.

Would be interested to know what you find.

All the best,

Andrew

Hi Travis,

It sounds as if each app is behaving slightly differently with the digirig. I would expect every app to automatically route sound through the digirig when it is connected, so there may be something going on that I am unaware of. I'll do some more digging.
It would be useful to know the name of the SSTV Encoder app - which does seem to behave nicely.

All the best,

Andrew

Andrew,

Music will not play via the digirig.  An SSTV encoder will put sound out via the digirig.  APRSDroid only goes thru the tablet speakers even when the digirig is selected as the audio output.

Thanks

Travis
