Been reporting on Live Nation’s bad behavior for some 20 years, but this time my little but mighty independent trade pub is no longer independent. But not to defend the Evil Empire my now-parent company is allegedly colluding with, let it be known that the Taylor Swift Eras tour is not affiliated with Live Nation, but with AEG whose primary ticketer is AXS.

But my take on the DOJ action? More awful Taylor Swift lyrics passing as commentary, lots of grandstanding and, ultimately, a quiet settlement.
