My friend and colleague Ina Jaffe passed today she was 75. 

In her career, among the awesome things she had done were she with her reporting personally shamed the VA for not keeping to the rules of the deed for the West LA Veterans hospital for which they were supposed to use the land for Veterans but they were Leasing it to places like UCLA for sports complexes. Only after her reporting got the ball rolling which turned into a tidal wave criticism, did things change and now they are starting to to build housing for houseless vets 

She was a reporter to be reckoned with.
