obligatory comment:
First, it's sad news and I'm wishing the best to his
friends and family.

Second, though, in regards to "Enterprise":

I watched the first episode because it was, well, the first.

Not impressed

<Insert "McKayla Maroney is not impressed" face. And/or
the similar one by President Obama>

So I'd bump into it every so often while switching channels,
would watch a couple of minutes, and then move on.

(Time Travelling Extra Terrestrial Alien Nazis??? Really???)

At the end, they announced that thanks to all the letters from
the viewers, there'd be another season.

Oh wait. Wrong Star Trek. Wrong announcement.

They announced they'd end the series by re-airing the
four episodes chosen as "the best" by the viewers.

So I figured I'd give it a try.

One of them was actually pretty good. Ok, they didn't
have the budget to do it really right, but the concept
and acting was top notch.

Plot: The Enterprise pulls alongside a planet which
has a Vulcan Rest and Resort Vaction Hotel, more or less,
(well, a monastery and they figured they could use some R&R.

(quoting from Wikipedia:
"En route, T'Pol describes it as an ancient retreat, a place for kolinahr
and peaceful meditation." [a])

They're told not to visit, but they beam down anyway.

Things don't seem quite right, and pretty soon they
discover a bunch of Andorians troops have taken over
and ... they're claiming the planet is actually
a major Vulcan spy base.

The Vulcans deny it. T'Pol says there's no way her
fellow Vulcans would ever do anything like this.

Yeah, even if you haven't seen it, you know what happens.

Captain Archer discovers that yes, the Andorians are
right and the Vulcans are lying pieces of shit. And
T'Pol has a major ey opening.

Very well done.

One of other four was pretty decent, but I don't recall
the specifics.

The final two were best left forgotten...
