Izutsu oyakata, stablemaster to yokozuna Kakuryu passed away yesterday
aged 58 from pancreatic cancer.

Known as Sakahoko while active he reached sumo's third highest rank, as
did his father (Tsurugamine) & younger brother (Terao). Another brother
(Kakureizan) reached juryo.

A little late, but this seems to have inspired the broader-based Topix, which as of this typing is at 1,614.58, up 4.71 points or 0.29 percent.
