Chicago media and readers lose... Robert Feder

background: Feder has been a _GREAT_ reporter
on media issues, primarily CHicago, but often
with national impact.

For example, he reported on how MeTV was not only
clipping out scenes from its libraries of old programs
that it considered problematic, but completely shitcanned
some episodes [a].

Anyway, from July 1st, 2022 (I just saw this):

Arab characters who show up in Bedrock as "towelheads" has been
excised. "Fred Flintstone will never be heard saying that on MeTV,"
Sabin said.
