Not to be confused with Richard Feder of Fort Lee, NJ
background: Feder has been a _GREAT_ reporter
on media issues, primarily CHicago, but often
with national impact.
For example, he reported on how MeTV was not only
clipping out scenes from its libraries of old programs
that it considered problematic, but completely shitcanned
some episodes [a].
Anyway, from July 1st, 2022 (I just saw this):
"My childhood dream became the honor of a lifetime
The luckiest people are those who get to do what they
love for a living - and decide when it's time to stop.
I'm one of them.
"After 42 years of reporting on Chicago media, I'm stepping
away from the beat. My website at RobertFeder.com will
continue online, but effective today, I'm concluding the
run of my daily column and wrapping up my tenure with the
Daily Herald."

An episode of "The Flintstones" in which Fred and Barney refer to two
Arab characters who show up in Bedrock as "towelheads" has been
excised. "Fred Flintstone will never be heard saying that on MeTV,"
Sabin said.
