The studio B pair of wires (circled) were shorting out. 

This may have been “good enough” at the time… but if you do things right the first time (ie cut your wires to an appropriate length so they don’t short!) it’ll save weeks of frustration down the road! 

Also, the poorly tinned end of the left wire broke off and jammed that port. I trimmed and restripped both wires and shifted the pair to #7 and just like that, Studio B is back. Magic!

Hahaha well, if they lasted for over a decade then I take it back! I probably would’ve done a similar job when I was in college, but I’ve created enough similar shorts at work that I’ve learned my lesson 😅
