My new users is >0 but my existing users is 0. How is this possible?

Hi Ryan,

This is because you have a >0 number of new users who accessed your app today, but no existing users of yours came back today to access your app.

In other words "0 total existing users" actually means "0 users revisited"?

On another note, number of users who "app launched" is 0, but that is certainly untrue given there are new users + i have launched the app myself.

Hi Ryan,

From what we can see, your integration seems to have not been set up correctly. You're missing the lifecycle listener, which you can read more about here: http://support.wizrocket.com/android-sdk-integration/#step-3-setup-the-lifecycle-callback--important.

I'm using the Web, and there isn't an equivalent lifecycle listener code, is there?

So that's one question: on the lifecycle listener for web.

Another question: how to get it to register the users who are already existing on the platform before the clevertap integration?

Hi Ryan,

Thanks for letting us know you're Web-only. I mistakenly sent you the Android SDK assuming you had a mobile app.

First of all, for a website, the "App launched" event is not applicable as this is for mobile apps only.

In order to register users existing on your platform before the CleverTap integration, you can use the server-side API to import data: http://support.wizrocket.com/server-side-http-api/.

Hi Sumitra,

In that case, is there an equivalent for app launched for a web?

Also, I have the facebook integration already embedded, but the user profile is not showing even after a user logs in with his facebook. Any clue?

Hi Ryan,

For web, we have the "Stayed" event; here is its definition: WizRocket tracks certain user actions automatically so that you don’t have to explicitly track them. This event is recorded when a  user either views more than 2 pages/screens or stays on your site for 2 minutes. Think of Stayed event as the opposite of a user bouncing off the site. This event is recorded for mobile applications as well as for website users.

Check the "Setting profile values via Facebook Login" here: http://support.wizrocket.com/websitehtml-integration/#setting-user-profile-details. This should help with your Facebook integration issue.
