Concert 8/4 Info

Good evening WCB!

Firstly, if you've contacted me lately and I've been slow in responding, I apologize.  Band camp has started, and it seems like there aren't enough hours in the day lately.

BUT!  Here is the info for the concert on Sunday at Boonsboro.

Location: Shafer Park. (Shafer Park Dr, Boonsboro, MD, 21713)  We will be in the pavilion just before you get to the creek that runs through the part.  You should be able to see us from the parking lot.

Time: Call is 6:30 for a 7:00pm concert.

What to Bring: You need the following items:

1. A stand

2. Your music (We will be turning summer music in at this concert)

3. Your Football Mania materials

Dress: Summer Uniform

This, traditionally, is a somewhat shorter and relatively low pressure concert, and one I'm pretty excited for.  I hope you are too!

Good morning all,

Apparently, the town of Boonsboro only has about 20 chairs for us to use tonight.  While it’s theoretically possible for us to get the wooden chairs from the barn, it would mean a lot of extra work in order to rearrange the trailer and get everything loaded.

So, before we take that step, I wanted to see if it’s possible to “crowd-source” this in a way.

So here is what I’m asking.  If you...

1. Are coming to tonight’s concert

2. Have access to folding chairs (not lawn chairs)

3. Are willing to bring them with you this evening

Would you please reply to this email and let me know how many chairs you are able to bring?

 I have it covered. I spoke to Joan. We are ok to use the wood chairs. I'll get a couple guys together and load them today.

Thank all of you who replied to me saying you were able to bring chairs.  I appreciate your willingness to help out.  We are covered for tonight.  Nobody needs to bring chairs.  Thank you again, and I’ll see you at 6:30.
