Hey Wexies….

Before you all disperse for the summer, wanted to share some fall dates with you.

Karen, Eva, Shelly & I met to discuss dates and topics so that we can try to get on a regular schedule for group get togethers, as we feel like we didn’t do as good of a job this past year.

We have tentatively planned for the following dates:

·         Tuesday, September 17th

·         Thursday, October 24th

·         Wednesday, November 20th

·         Wednesday, December 11th – Tentative Social Dinner at Sababa?

Please let us know asap if there are any major conflicts with these dates….if we don’t hear from you, we will set the dates, and then align teachers/topics to each date.

As for teachers/topics, we are going to pursue Deborah Lipstadt (she will be in DC for the year as a Fellow at the US Holocaust Museum!), Rachel Ain, Jonah Pesner, Rami Schwarzer and Rabbi Eliana as potential teachers.  If anyone has additional suggestions for teachers, please let me know, as well as any requested topics.

Please respond with any input asap, and have a safe & memorable summer! xoxo

Thanks so much, Estee (and others), for pulling all of this together.  I hope that we can maximize get togethers and attendance this coming year.  As you may know, Rabbi Ben Berger recently left Wexner and is moving to DC to work at Hillel International.  Just throwing that out there as a resource.  We were actually in the mother land this Shabbat (Columbus) for Ben's daughter's bat mitzvah, and I spoke with Rabba Yaffa Epstein (who taught us on Shabbat afternoon in Israel and is now head of the Heritage Program) -- she also is happy to be a resource for us if we want to brainstorm teachers, etc. with her.

Have a good summer.
