Dear Levine Community,

I want to inform you that we had some damage done to our Hillcrest exit gate control boxes this weekend. We notified the police who filed a case number on the incident. We also notified both the FBI and the Community Security Director at the Federation. The campus has been thoroughly searched for any additional damage or graffiti, and none was found. An investigation is underway to determine if it was deliberate or an accident.

We will initiate repair request as soon as we receive a release to do so from the investigators.

Lindsay, thanks for sharing. 

It is entirely possible that someone accidentally ran into the gate at the school overnight.  The damage to the gate is consistent with someone hitting the gate and knocking it away from the closer.  Hopefully nothing worse than that.   Stay tuned. Will let you know if there is a concern for something worse.
