Automated Venue confirmation?

Hey again Ethan,

I’ve started using the Venue section more aggressively and really like the Venue notification button but wish that I could just Boolean on a switch to auto send a template to the venue if a gig two weeks out. It’s a repetitive task when doing it manually and doesn’t really need to be personalized especially when you play at a venue every month.. not sure how simply it can be set up but it seems like you have a similar setting for updates to band members so maybe that system can be used here as well?

Hi Karli--

OK.  So glad you're using the Venue Notification feature! I can see that having automated emails sent out X days/weeks before the gig would be really helpful when it's part of your overall booking procedure.  I'll put that on my TODO list.

Hi Karli--

I've just implemented the auto-venue notification emails.  To use it:

1. Make sure venues you want to be included have emails assigned.  You can do this on the Venues page by editing the entries.  
2. On the Venues => Venue Notification Templates page, set the "Auto-notify Weeks" to the number of weeks before the event you want the notifications to go out.
3. I also recommend you turn on the Settings option to CC you on outgoing notification emails so you'll get a copy of the email:
