A few of us are planning on a GAP Ride June 3-5. Weather looks good at this time. If anyone would like to join us here are our plans:

Tuesday: Drive to Rockwood and park vehicle. Ride 45 miles to Connellsville and spend the night at the Comfort Inn right on the trail.

Wednesday: Ride 50 miles out and back to West Newton. Spend night at Comfort Inn Connellsville.

Thursday: Ride 45 miles back to car in Rockwood.

I don’t know of any trail damage but I would recommend 32mm+ tires.

An option for any would be to drive to Connellsville directly and do out and backs from there.

Bob, I'm definitely interested in going.  Gwen doesn't think she will be able to handle that many miles on the Tandem, so I'll be doing it solo .
If any other solo rider is in need of a roommate for those two nights, I'd certainly be willing to share a hotel room.

Glad to hear Norm. We have had to make a last minute change of dates. The new dates are June 17-19. So far there are 4 of us going. You, Rodney, Frank and myself. I know that Rodney and I prefer our own rooms because of bad sleeping habits. Reservations are never a problem at the Comfort Inn In Connellsville and it is a nice place. I would hold off on making reservations until we get closer to the date. I always like to make sure the weather is going to be accommodating. I’ll keep you informed as we get closer to the date.
