Impromptu Ride - Saturday, July 18, START 8am

Hello Fellow Wheelmen Members,

We are planning another training ride for the CWC - this time a 56 mile loop with a climb up Buck Hill (near Gerrardstown, WV) for a total of 3400 ft. of elevation gain.

There will be an opportunity to replenish supplies in Gerrardstown at  mile 25 after climb and descent of Buck Hill.

Hi Wolfgang,

The air quality is critical so I am going to bag out of tomorrow's ride. I have high efficiency air purifiers at home and will ride Zwift instead. The air purifiers detected the pollution and switched to high this morning when I moved them to an unfiltered room.

As much as I would like to go tomorrow, I have been researching the air quality and it does sound rather dangerous for heavy exercise. I am passing as well. Air quality should be improving by Sunday.

Good Morning, 

with the AQI still at 211 and forecast to improve only in the afternoon I will NOT be riding this morning. Instead postponing to same time tomorrow (Sunday)! If you want to do the ride today feel free to park at our house!
