Hello All!

I’m pretty new to this and seen there was a beginners group on Thursdays at 6. Due to my work schedule that isn’t currently doable.. so I was wondering if anyone would like to do a ride at another time. I’m not fast.. 11-12 is usually my average.

Hi Emily that is my current speed. Let me know what are good times for you to ride. There is also a casual ride Tuesdays in Berryville staring at 6

Hey Andrea! 

I’m a little limited with Fridays anytime after 12pm and free Saturdays and Sundays at any time. I don’t mind long rides to do the weekend ones with the group.. I just don’t want to start it and be left alone😂 I’ve done the 18 mile loop in Middletown starting at Belle Grove (bike GPS) route and another on there that’s the 12.4 Middletown ride starting at Laurel Ridge. 

So let me know and maybe we could pick up a ride or two together💪🏼!

Hi Eden!

Thank you for reaching out! I’m limited with my times:( Monday through Thursday I can’t ride.  Fridays I can do after 12. And I am free Saturdays and Sundays! I am not very fast- 11-12 is my average. I’m okay with long rides and shorter ones too! I’m from Star Tannery so I’ve done a lot more Middletown rides than anything else. I’ve done an 18 miler around belle Grove (Bike GPS) and another BikeGPS route that’s a 12.4 Middletown/Stephens City ride. I’ve also done some Gravel Grinders down in Ohio! 

I’m happy to try anything!

Hi Emily!

Welcome to Winchester Wheelmen!  Andrea and Eden are both wonderful people and great cyclists - I hope you can get some good rides in with them!!

I also want to invite you, and everyone who is interested, to the Tuesday Casual Riders group.  We meet behind the 7-11 at Rte 7 and Kimble Road in Berryville.  We have several ride options of 10 to 20 miles and we meet around 5:30pm for a 6 pm start.  

We also do impromptu weekend rides depending on weather and those tend to be 25-30 miles.  We always regroup as needed and make sure no one is left behind.

Thank you so much! How would I be notified of the impromptu rides? Friday/saturday/Sunday are my only available days at the moment:(
