Web Retrieval for Station Data

[Griffin Hemmelgarn]

Hi,

While using web retrieval to retrieve data from GSOD stations and GHCN stations like Seattle/Tac Airport, the prompt says "could not find," and files were not available for years. 

I am not the most tech-savvy and am struggling to get stations for my location loaded.

Download data for the dates prompted

Import data; the majority of the years have non-zero annual totals as shown below

There are three years shown below with zero annual totals. I looked at the source files and the recorded values are indicated as invalid or zero, which means that their gauge was probably down during that time. 

You can complete the dataset by using data from neighboring stations if available.
