Slightly off topic- can anyone recommend an adult (or general practice) dentist in the Newton/Watertown/Boston area?

Not off topic at all!

I use Dr. You at 1172 Beacon St, Newton (617) 969-5567 ... he's pretty between 4 corners and Cold Spring Park. My whole family has been going to him for years.

We go to Dr. Steven Levitt at 1400 Centre Street in Newton Centre. (617) 965-2440. Excellent general dentistry, specialty in cosmetic dentistry. I can't recommend him highly enough.

I'm a scaredy cat when it comes to dentists. But I really like Dr. Lane Sofman in Newtonville.

It's a small practice, he does everything himself, even the X-rays. His front office staff and hygienists are terrific. Free parking just a half-block away from his office:
