Here are businesses I contacted in Ludlow by Mail - (this took awhile to type.) if you know any or gave them business in the pastmake a visit - if you do emphasize that 2-3 responses to their ad will easily pay them back more than the $350 for 2 years.

Ludlow "focus" was another of Tom's mailings. He did send out to businesses in several area communities in previous communities. That's is why one of our new Sponsors is the The Grille at Wilbraham Country Club.
Both of us have reached out to many businesses and organizations for Sponsorships. Tom does letters and I focus on emails. These "cold calls" sometimes will get a hit. But it takes a lot of effort.
Most of the Banners hanging out there come from "Relics connections" including Trelleborg (James Quinlan), Raspberries Records (Paul Grudgen), K-9 Group of Hampden County (Steve Lepow) Magnet P.I. (Doug Stewart), and Collins and Sons Excavating (Gary Bodzioch). I have personal connections to more than 10 of the active Banners including Bacon Wilson, Excavation Plus, Garry Brown/Springfield Newspapers, WooSox Foundation and Prudential Advisors.
These Banners help to supplement the expenses for running the Relics. They bring in thousands of dollars each Season that goes towards projects including work needed for the Field which Ted will tell you gets very expensive. It isn't the same as playing in League where a local Rec Dept maintains them. The Relics need to have their own equipment, facilities to store it and pay for all the materials that go into the Field in trying to maintain it.
220+ Relics...imagine what even 20 more "connections" getting a new Sponsor would do for the Field?

We also have 11 banners that companies have not renewed this year. Tom is suppose to reach out to them and see if they want to renew.

I have been the one going after Renewals. I began contacting all of them in January.
Most have renewed. Also tracked down three 2024 Renewals that did not come in. Two have now paid and another is on the way.
There are not 11 outstanding.
ABC Supply, Springfield Thunderbirds, Tony and Penny's and Villa Rose are the only ones that did not reply.

Yes, we have Banners left over every year. But it doesn't mean we haven't tried to contact them.
4 comitted to Renewing but have not paid. Not unusual. Some Payments come in after the Season starts.
4 did not reply after several attempts to reach them.
The other 3 may be past Sponsors that are not going to Renew for various reasons such as Gallagher Real Estate whose Agents are no longer there.
We track everything in a Spreadsheet that Ted created many seasons ago. If anyone wants the Status of a Banner it can be found there.

I am not saying you haven't tried. I just didn't know ow what was going on with the ones left over. We should also contact those who did t renew to see if they want their banner back. They paid for them, they should get them back. Either that or we toss em.
