Just my opinion

I haven't been able to make a bunch of games this year due to family comes first issues so I look forward to playing when my schedule allows me to. My team was supposed to play today and I am available but the game has unfortunately been cancelled. Many game have been cancelled recently due to bad weather and that is understandable. So today there is an opportunity  for two games as the weather forecast looks good  for softball. but, as far as I can see there will only be one game. I guess the league wants to have a balanced schedule so the standings are realistic. 

    The way the weather has been this year when we have an opportunity to play we should take advantage of it, not cancel games . We've already lost too many games because of the weather.

Being in the Gold division of a recreational league the standings don't mean anything to me. I am just glad to be out there giving it  my best no matter the opponent, getting some exercise and chatting with the guys and maybe having a beer and a bite to eat after the game.  

   So, that being said , I just wish I could play today and to hell with the standings.

  Please remember that this is just my opinion and I am not angry with anyone.
