Hi,

I just had a package that was delivered yesterday and wasn’t there when I went to look for it last night. I called the post office and they said it was indeed delivered. If anyone picked it up by mistake could you please let me know. It would have been addressed to Sean Fiscus or Mariel Torres in Unit 6 of 535 condo number.

Same thing happened to a package delivered to my unit a couple weeks ago from Amazon.  It was definitely delivered, but I never received it, so I’m assuming it was left at the doorstep as well.

These both happened at building 535.

The board has previously suggested making sure (when possible) that packages are shipped with carriers who leave packages in the mail room, rather than on doorsteps.

The board has also suggested reporting missing packages to the police.

Finally, on occasion a package is mis-directed, and if the recipient doesn't reroute it to its proper owner, theft might be suspected when in fact it was a delivery error. These cases are not usual but they do occur.

Thank you for letting me know. I did contact the post office and they did tell me that the package was delivered in the mail room and was not delivered to my residence. I was wondering if the cameras in the mailroom are recorded if so would that provide any information on what might have happened. I received a notification stating that the package was delivered at 11:26 am on June 6,2019. I wanted to send this email out to see if anyone had picked it up by mistake but no one else has contacted me so I can contact the police tomorrow but was really hoping not to get them involved. If nothing comes from the camera in the mail room I will have no choice but to involve them. I look forward to hearing from you.
