WMR200: Speed up record-reading

I had a SD-card crash so the weewx-server was offline for quite a while. Now that I managed to recover the database and transfer all customized files to the new installation I get issues with the catching up.

Weewx is only reading stored records a bit faster than live so this will take months. And during this time there are no new images created - it is just waiting for the stored records to be read.

How can I speed up the reading and storing of records?

I guess the speed-issues are driver specific. I don't know what rate of backfilling records is to be expected with your station.

But the best advice I can give you: don't rely on a SD-Card, it's not built for many write operations. You will see the new card crashing again. Use a SSD instead.
