UV LOOP data very high

I'm seeing very high reading for UV / UVI below is the raw data ,  I'm using Interceptor driver version 0.54.  UV reading is  'uv': 2918.0.  I'm guessing the sensor is faulty, does anyone recognise this as a valid reading,  if so how can it be use to calculate the UV Index?
