Moving from one Raspberry to another - no data from Ecowitt station

Hi all,

my current WeeWX installation is running on a Raspberry Pi3 and it'S working perfect.

Now i wanted to change the device and installed WeeWX from scratch on a new Raspberry Pi 4.

My weather station is an EcoWitt HP1000 pro, i am using the interceptor driver for it. 

I changed the IP adress on the weather station to get the data pulled from the new device, however it's not working.

Switching back to the Pi3 adress and restarting the service there, it comes back working.

The config files on both devices are identical.

Any idea where to start looking at it?

As always, start with your system logs.   Set debug=1 and restart weewx or run weewx interactively. (https://weewx.com/docs/usersguide.htm#Running_directly)

I can only guess that you did one of the following:

• forgot to install something needed for interceptor onto the new pi4
• or you referenced a pathname in your working weewx installation that is different than your not-working pi4 configuration.

Hi all,

thanks for your suggestions. After i wasn't able to find the problem i decided to reinstall the whole Raspberry.

I did not do anything different, but now it's working again.
