Davis vantage pro 2 info

hi all,
we are thinking to use weewx for a davis vantage pro 2. Anyone has this station working with weewx ? any suggestion or best practices ?

Have a Davis Vantage Pro 2 communicating with two Raspberry Pi 3B+.  One is communicating via the USB port of the console.  Second is communicating with the ISS via a SDR Dongle.

This is arguably the most common high-end station, or one of them.

The standard approach is to use the logger from davis.

suggestions/best practices:

Read the directions/docs.

Use a 5 minute archive interval, unless you have a good reason
otherwise. That's normal, and a good blend of precision and letting
data be captured while the computer is down.

Make sure the console has batteries, to avoid corruption from power
loss.

Make sure your computer has an RTC, if it's a type where that is not
there by default. Put it on a UPS.
