Imported data not appearing in history

I'm importing data from my old CumulusMX system. All appears to go well and I see records in the database when I query them.However the data is not showing in the monthly and yearly reports when I view them in my browser. Although the drop down now shows the imported periods, the data doesn't show for the month or day.

Do I need to run or update something to get them to appear?

Hi,

I assume since you refer to the drop down being populated the month and year reports you refer to are the NOAA format reports. If so you need to delete all of the NOAA reports on your WeeWX machine (they will be in the NOAA directory wherever your WeeWX output is saved) and let WeeWX regenerate them all on the next report cycle. No need for a restart. The next report cycle may take a while to complete, it will depend on the number of months/years of data you have.

Don't worry Dave, you are not Robinson Crusoe, this has come up a few times. I have made a note to add something to the Utilities Guide to highlight this step.
