Hello,

I have around 13 years of wview data in my database so I just wonder if there is some script or utility to import this into weewx so I can keep all my history if I decide to jump over to weewx from now...?

I have a network connected Vantage Pro 2.  Does weewx have some parameterlist like wview where it stores all data drawn from the station?

Thanks a lot for comments on this

best regards Tor

Hi,

If you are using SQLite it is a simple case of copying your wview database to your WeeWX machine. For MySQL it’s a bit more involved. Both are covered in the section ‘Compatibility with wview’ (http://weewx.com/docs/usersguide.htm#wview_compatibility) in the User’s Guide.

Not sure about parameterlist as I am not an ex-wview user, perhaps you could elaborate? All observation related data is stored in the database and is available in reports via a system of tags. Some station specific info is available via the tag system as well. The tag system is covered in the Customization Guide (http://weewx.com/docs/customizing.htm#Tags).
