Weewx and the Meteopi Ethernet

Hi folks

Have a new install 4.2.10 which was connected to a Davis Vue via a Meteopi ethernet. Managed to get the system working although the link have never been wonderful. Yesterday morning the link stopped working completely.

On restart Weewx tries to connect and fails.

Is this likely to be hardware related or have I just been really stupid? I have restarted not only the weewx server but the Meteopi as well...

Suggestions on a postcard to...

I'm not familiar with the Meteo-Pi, but perhaps it's the problem?

It would help to see the full log from startup, not just the end. Also, text please, not a screenshot. For tips on getting a good log, see the article Help! Posting to weewx-user in the wiki.

I run a Meteo-Pi Ethernet with my Vantage Pro 2. Can you access directly the website of the unit ? (in my case http://192.168.10.180/)

It was found to be the unit which is quite voltage sensitive. The POE splitter was not providing a true 5v to the unit. Replaced the POE splitter with a standard 5v USB wall wart and bingo, everything is good.
