Bad data edited out of weewx.sdb but remains in Statistics

Added new measurement, placed into extraTemp4, the first few readings were erroneous due to my typo in my py code in the extensions.py, stopped weewx downloaded sdb edited out bad data uploaded corrected sdb, restarted weewx, ran wee_database --rebuild-daily, (twice), deleted *.png *.html in public_html, but ... the 278degF reading is still showing in Statistics.  I thought everything I did would clear out the erroneous Statistical reading. 

What am I forgetting or failing to understand?

Okay... it seemed clear to me after reading "https://github.com/weewx/weewx/wiki/Cleaning-up-old-'bad'-data" that I should also run a --drop-daily, then do a --rebuild-daily, and that seemed to have cleared it up.

Oy.
