Hi
I am using weewx  version is 0.5.5 And interceptor extension.
Now I like to have a short weather forecast on my site.
Problem is because I can select only from
forecast_compact.inc
forecast_iconic.inc
forecast_strip.inc
forecast_table.inc
And none if it doesn't give me this forecast on this link
I have setup in my index.html.tmpl
#include "forecast_iconic.inc"
and here is my website and I cant get what I like.
What I need to do?
thank you
Damian

Did you really get 12m of rain last year?

2024 Rain Total 12100,6 mm

According to Wikipedia's climate table for Ljubljana (SI), which indicates an average annual precipitation of 1387 mm, it would be more accurate to assume 1200 mm in order to reflect reality.

That'd make more sense, wonder why all the rain values seem to be out by a factor of 10.

Can you please explain how to change that so I can get right value? What is best option. Just add in config a factor divided by 10?
Or I can also check daily rain and compare it with weather companies?

Hi
I even didn't notice, this is way to high. Something must be wrong. Any idea?

Have you made any custom adjustment settings in weewx.conf?

John Smith

I'd start by looking in weewx.conf, what will make that difficult is rain isn't a constant, so will be harder to debug, add debug=1 to the top of the config file will give you more logging that may help.

Under StdCalibrate, Corrections, you have the following:
        rain = rain * 10
        rainRate = rainRate * 10

That is, you are tellling weewx to multiply rain by 10.  Remove those lines and restart WeeWX.

thank you I will remove that.
should I remove these also?
        pressure = pressure * 0.9647

        UV = UV * 1.0027

I have no idea if you should remove the UV change.  How did it get there in the first place?

This will depend on your station, driver, sensor... and if this kind of calibration makes sense in your case, or not.

Another thing you have to do, is to manually correct your rain values in the database (only the affected rows where the rule in [Corrections] did apply, might be hard to find out), and it's retrieved values (rainRate) and the recalculate yours stats. There are weewx tools that can help you with this: https://weewx.com/docs/5.1/utilities/weectl-database/

Did you also do something with your barometer readings?

Low Barometer 958,2 hPa 13. 03. 2025 03:03:05

Although that might be more likely bad data in your database...

this is my weather station.
and I have removed all those corrections
about this I really dont know
Low Barometer 958,2 hPa 13. 03. 2025 03:03:05

While it's within the realm of possible, this isn't unless you've been through a cyclone or similar...

Lowest 881,6 hPa 31. 10. 2021 12:14:14

Do you have your altitude set correctly to adjust raw values into ones as if they are at sea level?

Hi
this record as I checked is not real we don't have cyclones here
Altitude is real and it is ok.
did you check also any other values which are "strange"?
I repair now year rain and it is real value now.

You may need to remove bad values from the database and rebuild daily summaries then:

I didn't spend a lot of time looking at your website but the rain and barometer readings stood out like a sore thumb...

Just took another look and your barometer is still wonky, currently 988hPa, looks like you were adjusting it to a more sane value, but have since undone it...

hi
Yes I have removed all corrections and than I see that was wrong. So after that I have adjusted settings to show up exact value.
now should be ok.
I also changed yearly rain to real value so I changed that in database now is 1210 mm
thank you for link I will check that. But problem is I don't know what is real data and what is wrong on my site.
regards

For the rain: your rain gauge has a resolution of 0.1mm. You will very likely find the timestamp since when rain = rain * 10 corrections was made, because the increments in the database are in whole mm instead of 0.1mm.

Am I right in thinking WeeWX is using a sqlite file?
Did you change target_unit at all?

Ok your sqlite file will have the barometer column in hPa then, all you need to do is follow the instructions on this page:

I did ask you if you were using sqllite db, do you have phpMyAdmin installed? That will be the easiest way to find and remove bad data.

You only need to worry about the archive table, just sort the table by the barometer column ascending and then either set bad records to NULL or delete the row if all the data is dodgy.

Then follow the link I sent to rebuild the daily summaries.

I dont know if I need to open another topic, for other problems. First how to setup forecast to show what I wanted?
And second one about lightning. I get some strange data, how to convert that into readable data? There is no lightning but still I get this. 2025-10-01 19_36_45-WEEWX Forecast – Mozilla Firefox.png
