The current stable version of the Weather34 Template (weewx-Weather34 4.3.0) will the last release in its current form. The template was originally written for Metobridge and in 2019, the author Brian Underdown gave me permission to use his legacy code to develop and maintain a version for WeeWX. Since that time, it has been under continuous development by myself and several collaborators. In particular, Jerry Dietrich has given enormous support and encouragement, particularly with the Python coding for which I am very grateful.

However, this is not the end of the story as weewx-Weather34 is to undergo a complete re-write to leverage more fully the power of WeeWX. It will re-emerge with an updated look, more unique features and a brand new name.

In the meantime, although weewx-Weather34 will not be developed any further beyond its current status, full support will be maintained for the resolution of users' issues, bug fixes etc. Just so all existing users are re-assured, there will be no cut-off point for this support.

If any of the current users are interested, there will be an opportunity to test the new template at some point.

Thank you to all users, past and present and hope to see you all on the next part of the journey.

Watch this space :-)

Ian
