Steelseries gauges show temp range from -10000 to 2000

What control's the range shown on steelseries gauges when using realtime update? I recently made some changes to my custom driver and now the gauges will sometimes show huge ranges on the dial, yet have the correct value. Most of the time, it shows the 0-100 degF range it always has.
