In your case is different since you do not have the console at all,I was wondering if I can do as I described In my original post,maintaining the console and replacing only the barometer and having again NOAA correctly generated,like my console never lost the barometer "signal".

I'm fairly sure you can still use the driver I linked to, it's not just for use with sdr, it integrates the BME280 data with the station data that the weewx loop is collecting, so if your console is connected via usb it should still work. There's more details in the readme for the driver ( follow the link I posted)
