Current/Daily/Station information fails to update

After apt upgrading my Raspberry Pi installation of weewx from 4.5.1 to 4.8.0 the stats no longer work however the graphs are updating correctly.

/var/log/messages shows no change or errors in it.

I chose to keep all my configuration files during the upgrade.

Hopefully the screenshot attached will provide some clue.

Your station uptime suggests that weewx was never restarted after the upgrade.
