All the links to Docs including http://www.weewx.com/docs.html have been returning 404 errors since yesterday.

we have been trying to future-proof the docs, while not breaking the many existing links in the forums and various wiki pages.

we goofed.

the docs should be working again now.

Everything works as expected. Did you clear the browser-cache?

Before, we relied on redirects which did not pass on bookmark anchors. In an attempt to fix that, I switched to something that uses symbolic links --- no redirects. However, most browsers cache the redirects, so you'll get 404 errors until you invalidate the cache.

This morning, Matthew switched to still another scheme, which seems to be returning 404 errors.

So, I switched things back.

Bottom line: if you're getting strange results, invalidate any caches on your browser.
