I posted a simple mod on here about two years ago that allows you to pull the AFM vice the PFM which will give you a more accurate forecast for your local area than a PFM will provide in most cases.

Yes, Mike I think you're right. The weewx forecasting extension looks to
be scraping those PFM reports for its data, so you can only choose from

I dug through the NWS forecast page generated by lat/lon and there is an
option to generate a tabular output, but that is not in PFM format. So, it
looks like your are stuck with the classic PFM ...more

Very neat, John/Chauncey! I think I was aware of your extension at some
point, I have your website bookmarked as a really good model.
But I don't see your extension listed in the wiki.

I finally found one that works but same as another user pointed out the
only one I can get the extension to pull a forecast from is the Airport,
there are actually about 12 point forecasts ...more
