Hi
Looking for help in determining if WeeWX might be compatible.  I just checked the hardware list and it's not in the list.  Does anyone know if another model settings would work?

I'm trying to connect directly to the weather station and not rely on wunderground since our internet is slow and easily knocked out due to power shortages.

TIA

Thanks
I was wondering if there wasn’t a smart way to intercept the radio signals. How does one discover which radio frequency the data is sent on?

Cheers

I don’t have the raspberry pi setup yet, and have to read through the GitHub documentation. I’m sure it’s helpful. I’ll know more in a couple days

the frequency is in either the range of 433mhz or 915mhz. Look into info about your station. I'm sure they'll list it somewhere. once you know, you'll configure the program rtl_433 to the frequency and it will begin to see the packets. weewx-sdr is the link between that and your weewx. once you are able to run the weewx-sdr service manually you'll see the packets of data and how they are named. you then configure weewx with the appropriate information from that. It's not as bad as it sounds. I had trouble the first time but don't we all when we do something for the first time. it's not too bad. when you get to that step check in if you need to. first though I'd make sure weewx-sdr supports your weather station. there's documentation about supported systems but I can't find the link for it now. it's out there tho

It’s not on the list, I don’t know which company is the OEM for Explore Scientific educational and Astronomy products.

If anyone knows…

There are frequencies listed on the page you linked to, and more specifically (by country) within the manual that's linked from that page.

Cheers
