Automatic backup to Google Drive

Hello, I am looking for a script or program that can upload the Weewx database and configuration settings on Google Drive every day.
I use Weewx on a Raspberry Pi with Debian system.
The advantage is that I do not need a NAS at home and do not need any extra energy. I am not experienced with Linux, so with very limited knowledge.

I use a modified version of Jeremy Blythe's Motion Uploader code to copy a backup of the database to Google Drive. See his blog here for full instructions. You can find my mods in Github here. 

I manually backup the config files since they don't change.

I have a script that stops weewx at 3am, copies the database to a backup, restarts weewx, and then calls the uploader to copy the database to google drive.

I periodically go to the google drive and clean out old backups.
