how to install on tumbleweed

FWIW, I ended up using the pip method - see https://weewx.com/docs/5.2/quickstarts/pip

Thank you for that information

my problem is that my weather website at http://nisquallyhighlands.net/ which has run for several years all of a sudden is broken.

It repeats it self indefinitely and i don't know why. I don't remember touching it for a very long time. It uses the steel series gauges

and beyond hat nothing special

Then take a look into the logs. Most likely there are hints in it helping finding the root cause of the problem.
