WifiLogger2 with Weewx

Hi everyone,

I just bought the WifiLogger2 and Installed it in my console. It's working very well except for a small issue i'm having with Weewx. I have configured it to work with ethernet and it's fetching the data normally but It seems to be chocking the logger with request to get the packets and it prevents the Logger from exporting it's data to WL.com or PWS. How would one go to configure Weewx to allow such a thing ? I saw in previous discussion that some here have a WifiLogger with weewx and i'm curious on how you configured it. I had a chat with the WifiLogger2 dev and he says that the idea is to give some time to the logger to process the exports.

My archive is every 5 minutes but weewx seems to fetch every loop packet. Any help would be appreciated. I'm on the latest version of weewx 5.1.0.

I have my wifilogger2 connecting only to weewx.  Weewx in turn exports to our web server, windy and WU.  So have not seen the loading problem with wifilogger2.

ok as I understand you don't use any export feature from WifiLogger2. I want to export to WL.com and PWS directly in the logger. I have a vantage pro 2. I think the drivers for the Weatherlink Live might work in this case. The only service I don't see weewx support is Weatherlink.com unless i'm missing something. I don't want to pull data from but push data to as my station is part of a network of station that monitor rainfall closely.

The WiFiLogger2 is not capable of having WeeWX and any export at the same time.

The developer has confirmed that the logger can't even use NTP when WeeWX is connecting to it.

Unfortunately yes. That's why I put back my usb logger and used meteobridge vm instead which can absolutely do everything at the same time. Connect Weewx as well as upload to services. Everthing is rock solid since then.
