unable to upload to weather underground

I have in weewx.conf the name of the station and my password in weather underground. I try with the name of the station and with the station id but I get Failed to publish record 2022-06-28 21:10:00 CEST (1656443400): Failed upload after 3 tries every 5 minutes

Could be any one of a number of issues, before we can give any specific advice we really need to see a log extract with debug = 2. This wiki entry gives details on how to get a good log extract.

With debug=2 the only change is Wunderground-PWS: Failed upload attempt 1: HTTP Error 401: Unauthorized

Those are all volunteer, who try to help you. If you really want to get help, do, what they request you to do. In this case,  read the wiki and provide the information exactly as described there.

Did you change anything ?

Did you search the group archives for "Wunderground-PWS: Failed upload attempt 1: HTTP Error 401: Unauthorized"

And lets think just a 'little' about the error message you received....

Might it be possible that "Unauthorized" means that your station name / password / api_key that you typed into weewx.conf has an error ?

Yes it is pretty likely you have a typo there.
