VP2 no longer sending trx to WeeWx

Weewx has been running for several years without any issues. It is getting weather data from Vantage Pro2 connected to Meteobridge running on a RPi. On June 22 it stopped getting transaction data from the Meteobridge. That happens periodically with my network and a restart of the weewx and/or the meteobidge will correct.  The weewx will catch up all the data records missed. This time something else is happening and weewx will not get any transactions. The meteobridge log file shows that meteobridge is accepting a connection from the RPi running Weewx. 

I have restarted the Meteobridge, the VP2 console and the RPi. They are communicating but the only error I see in the weewx log is.  "... ERROR weewx.drivers.vantage: ip-read error: timed out". 

Can anyone explain what is happening and where do I look next ? Weewx log file is attached.

Thanks for the solution. 

The reset of console did not work,  but the  ":wee_device --dump" and then " wee_device --clear-memory" got everything functioning.
