So many of the links on the showcase page appear to be dead now though.

So many complaints.  Sigh.  C'mon guys....

I'd suggest using the weewx map instead.   You will find many more example sites with a much greater chance of finding one with a valid station_url link that gets you to their web page.

(note - the station_url does not have to be valid, so there are no guarantees the registered 'link' will work)
